Learning Activities in steps:
Step 1 – Briefly
revise last lesson. Introduction of new lesson. The teacher guides the
students to describe and define Circles. Discuss the parts of a
circle. Make good use of the instructional materials.
Step 2 – Teacher
guides the students to use pairs of compasses to construct circles of:

Radius 15mm
ii.
Radius 60mm
iii.
Radius 25mm
iv.
Diameter 38mm
v.
Diameter 50mm
Step 3 – Teacher
guides the students to describe and define triangles. Discuss the
parts and types of triangles. Teacher guides the students to construct
equilateral triangles with the following dimensions:
i.
50mm
ii.
45mm
iii.
50mm
Step 4 – Teacher
guides the students to construct triangles with the following dimensions:
i.
AB = 40MM
BC = 20MM AC = 30MM
ii.
AB = 60MM
BC = 45MM AC = 35MM
iii.
AB = 45MM
